Private Rod & Gun Club

The Guthsville Rod & Gun Club is a private shooting & fishing club located in beautiful Orefield, Pennsylvania – just north of Allentown. The Club takes its name from the village a few miles northwest of the intersection of routes 309 and 22. Located on forty plus acres, the club has indoor and outdoor shooting ranges.

3rd Annual Pig Roast, Saturday September 28th 11am – 7pm. Tickets on Sale now in the main room of the Club house Adults $5/ Under 18 $1, Tickets on the day of the event $10 adults/ $5 under 18. Food, Live Music, Beer and Trial ranges for Static Steel, Falling Steel, Bullseye, outlaw pistol, Junior Shooters and New shooter.

New Range Rule , Effective September 9, 2024

At the June 10th membership Meeting a motion was made and passed to adopt a new range rule. The Range rule will be effective September 9th, 2024. All firearms must be cased or holstered when being transported from your vehicle to the Range/ Or from Range to vehicle and also while moving from one range to another. Any member who violates this rule will be asked to leave the range.

Static Steel Practice

Our 1st V.P. Tim  Knopf will begin holding Static Steel Practice Stages on March 26th. They will be held on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm. There will be a max of 15 shooters and they must pre-register by contacting Tim at – ttll@verizon.net

Guthsville Rod and Gun Club

Concealed Carry and Home Defense LLC will be beginning to hold Youth Firearm and Safety Fundamentals Course for ages 10-17. This course will teach accident prevention, handgun and rifle familiarity, safety and range rules, range etiquette along with situational awareness to help keep hem safe in public. Gun Raffle 

Our Next Gun Raffle will be a 5 gun raffle to be drawn at the Pig Roast. Raffle tickets are now on sale at the club by the guest pass sign in area. They are available 24/7. There are only 160 tickets available and they are $20.00 each. The drawing will be held on September 28th, 2024 Gun= 1. Ruger MK IV 22lr 2.Howa M1500 300 winmag, 3. Mossberg 500 Combo 12ga 4.     The ranges at Guthsville Rod and Gun Club are open every day of the year.
    Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – Sunset
    Sunday open at 10:30 a.m – Sunset
    *Hours are for normal range use and may be altered for Matches and Special Events.

    Please note that some or all of the ranges may be closed for shooting events. Be certain to check the calendar for dates of range closings. During normal shooting events the Police range, Plinking range, 50ft range, Black powder range, 25yd range and the 35yd special purpose range are closed during the match. On special events more ranges may be closed.
